This short course introduces Sri Lankan school students to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in a simple, practical, and future-focused way. By exploring the difference between human and artificial intelligence, students will gain a clear understanding of how AI systems work and how computers learn from data through basic Machine Learning concepts. The course also guides learners to use AI tools responsibly for education, language learning, and research, while maintaining ethical standards, safety, and digital privacy.
A key skill taught in this module is Prompt Engineering, helping students communicate effectively with AI tools to obtain accurate and meaningful results. With a focus on critical thinking, creativity, and Sri Lankan identity, the course prepares students to confidently face global technological challenges as responsible and future-ready individuals.
